How to Remove the Cover
- Loosen the harness by lifting the harness adjusting level and pulling both harness straps forward
- Open the chest clip
- Unbuckle the harness
- Remove the comfort pads and belly pads from the harness buckle
- From the back of the child seat, remove the harness straps from the harness yoke
- pull the straps to the front of the child seat
- Detach the plastic hooks from the front button of the child seat shell
- Remove the cover from the child seat shell
How to Reattach the Cover
- Place the child seat cover on the child seat shell, being sure to pull the sides of the cover around edges of the child seat shell and pull the buckle through the appropriate slot in the cover seating area and make sure to pull the harness adjuster strap through the appropriate slot in the cover
- Attach the plastic hooks to the front button of the child seat shell
- Feed the harness strap through the desired harness slot in the cover and the shell to the back of the child seat
- Repeat the process for the second harness strap
- The harness straps by inserting their right strap loop into the left strap loop and assure that the adjuster strap attached to the yoke is not twisted.
- Slide the nested harness strap completely onto the harness yoke
- Replace the belly pad by first placing the elastic lip around the buckle
- Feed the buckle through the slot in the belly pad
- Replace the comfort pad

Rear-facing Installation Using LATCH
- Remove the lower connectors from the storage slots in the base
- Press the adjuster release button, pulling the strap to full length
- Repeat the process of the second strap
- Fully recline the child seat and place the rear facing on the vehicle seat, ensuring the child seat base is in full contact with the vehicle seat
- Firmly press the lower connectors onto the adjacent lower anchors
- Push the child seat down while pulling the latch straps tight, ensuring the straps are not twisted
- Check to make sure the installation is secure
Rear-facing Installation Using Lap/Shoulder Belt and Two Lock-offs
- Fully recline the child seat
- Place the rear facing on the vehicle seat, ensuring the child seat is in full contact with the vehicle seat
- Loosen the harness by lifting the harness adjuster lever and pulling both harness straps forward
- Remove the body pillow
- Unbuckle the harness and remove the belly pad
- Pull the seat cover forward to access the rear-facing belt patt, ensuring the buckle is pulled through the cover and it rolls towards the back of the child seat and is in the inner buckle slot.
- Open both blue lock-offs by opening a locking tab and then opening a clamp.
- Route the vehicle belt through the rear-facing belt slots, ensuring the vehicle belt is not twisted and its excess slack from the bottom (lap) part of the vehicle belt is removed before closing the lock-offs.
- Check to make sure the installation is secure.
Rear-facing Installation Using Lap Belt Only
- Fully recline the child seat
- Place the rear facing on the vehicle seat
- Loosen the harness by lifting the harness adjuster lever and pulling both harness straps forward
- Remove the body pillow
- Unbuckle the harness
- Remove the belly pad
- Pull the seat cover forward to access the rear-facing belt path, ensuring the buckle is pulled through the cover and it rolls towards the back of the child seat and is in the inner buckle slot.
- Route the vehicle seat belt through the rear-facing belt slots and ensure the vehicle belt is not twisted; then buckle.
- Push the child seat into the vehicle seat while removing slack from the vehicle seat belt.
- Check to make sure the installation is secure.
Forward-facing Installation Using LATCH
- Remove the lower connectors from the storage slots in the base
- Press the adjuster release button
- Pull the strap to full length
- Repeat the process with the second strap
- Remove the versa-tether from the pouch on the rear of the child seat
- Remove the connector strap if attached and store it in the pouch on the top of the seat
- Undo the tether strap
- Link the tether strap by lifting the adjusting tap and pull the strap in the direction of tether hook
- Place the tether strap up and over the child seat back for use latter
- Select reclining position one or two and place the child seat forward facing on the vehicle seat, ensuring that less than 20% or 3 inches (7.6 cm) of the base hangs over the edge of the vehicle seat. The child seat is flat on the vehicle seat and the vehicle head restraint does not push the child seat away from the vehicle seat back.
- Firmly press the lower connectors onto the adjacent lower anchors until the click is heard
- Verify the lower connector strap is not twisted
- Repeat on the other side of the child seat
- Push the child seat down while pulling the latch straps tight, ensuring the straps are not twisted
- Check to make sure the installation is secure
Forward-facing Installation Using Lap/Shoulder Belt and Two Lock-offs
- Remove the versa-tether from the pouch on rear of the child seat
- Remove the connector strap if attached and store it in the pouch on the top of the seat
- Undo the tether strap
- Link the tether strap by lifting the adjusting tap and pull the strap in the direction of tether hook
- Place the tether strap up and over the child seat back for use latter
- Select reclining position one or two and place the child seat forward facing on the vehicle seat, ensuring that less than 20% or 3 inches (7.6 cm) of the base hangs over the edge of the vehicle seat. The child seat is flat on the vehicle seat and the vehicle head restraint does not push the child seat away from the vehicle seat back.
- Loosen the harness by lifting the harness adjuster lever and pulling both harness straps forward
- Remove the body pillow if in place, unbuckle the harness
- Pull the seat cover forward to access the forward-facing belt path
- Open both blue lock-offs by opening a locking tab and then opening a clamp
- Route the vehicle belt through the forward-facing belt slots, then buckle
- Push down in the middle of the child seat with moderate force while removing slack from the bottom leg part of the vehicle belt before closing the lock-offs
- Close the lock-offs: close the buckle first by rotating clamp down and pushing down a locking tab with your palm or thumb until the click is heard
- Push the child seat down again while pulling the top (shoulder) part of the belt between the belt slots to remove any remaining slack through the lock-offs
- Check to make sure the installation is secure
Forward-facing Installation Using Lap/Shoulder Belt and One Lock-off
- Remove the versa-tether from the pouch on rear of the child seat
- Remove the connector strap if attached and store it in the pouch on the top of the seat
- Undo the tether strap
- Link the tether strap by lifting the adjusting tap and pull the strap in the direction of tether hook
- Place the tether strap up and over the child seat back for use latter
- Select reclining position one or two and place the child seat forward facing on the vehicle seat, ensuring that less than 20% or 3 inches (7.6 cm) of the base hangs over the edge of the vehicle seat. The child seat is flat on the vehicle seat and the vehicle head restraint does not push the child seat away from the vehicle seat back.

- Close the lock-offs by rotating clamp down and pushing down a locking tab with your palm or thumb until the click is heard
